DID Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA) have their own

parallel radio navigation system in the 1930s ?

Bob Bennett brought this to my attention. It is in the latest Air Canada “Enroute” inflight magazine. He thought it sounded a bit odd. Hard to know what to make of it. Before the days of ATC I know TCA had dispatchers but I did not know they had their own radio ranges. No sign of a Morse key in the photo. Did they have their own parallel radio navigation system?
