WILLIAM WESTON WALKER (28 November 1932) passed away July 19, 2007 in Nanaimo after a lengthy illness. Bill will be missed by his loving wife Stella, children Olwen (Hal), Bill (Debra), Joanne (Jeff) and granddaughters Sarah, Heather, Colleen and Taylor.
Bill was a fine Radio Inspector that was well known and liked. He was also known for his oratory skills during public speaking engagements, humour was always his cornerstone. Bill initially worked at our Department of Communications (DOC) office in Kitchener, later transferring to our Belleville office before his retirement. Amongst some of the amateur radio call signs he held were VE3EEE, VE3BW and finally VE7BWS.
