Ralph Enno Kuster Sr. Ralph Enno Kuster Sr. was born on November 19, 1919, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. He was a Wireless Operator and a Flying Instructor during World War II.
For the first 5 years of the war, he operated under the authority of a temporary Second Class Certificate of Proficiency in Radio. He was issued a permanent Second Class Certificate on 17th of May 1945.

Ralph graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto in 1949.
