Ronald (Ron) Joly James

Ronald Joly James was born on April 18, 1922, in Springfield, Manitoba

1940  -  Age 18

The photo above was taken when Ron graduated from training as a radio operator while employed by Trans Canada Airlines. He became a member of the Canadian Government Air Service (Ferry Command) and served as a navigator on flights between Gander, NewFoundland and Prestwick, Scotland.

 

Ron passed away on June 21, 1995 at the age of 73 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
