I took this photo of Tam inside Quebec Region's Monitoring Van parked at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver on December 9, 2009. I had just delivered the monitoring van to Vancouver in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics and I was assisting Gordon Hermann in carrying out a preemptive P.I.R.A.T.E.S. operation in the Vancouver area. Tam came over to view the operation........ Donald Courcy

Goodbye/Au revoir

Hi All:

Today is my last day of work, and it is time to say good bye. I would like to thank all my colleagues and friends for your friendship, cooperation and support during these enjoyable and challenging years with the department. I will miss you all.

Après ces années de côtoiement, de travail ensemble, quitter ça fait toujours un pincement au coeur le jour du départ.

Esperons que ce n'est juste qu'un 'au revoir'.

Here is the reason why Tam suddenly decided to retire

Voici la raison pourquoi Tam a pris sa retraite subitement

"Action item - STPC-M-Sep2010-04: Tam Huynh to propose a methodology for noise floor measurement to be used in a campaign while considering and coordinating with other noise measurement activities in DSPE."
