Farewell

We say farewell to a man, widow, father, grandpa, brother, cousin, uncle and friend.  Neil Alfred Hehn, age 77, passed away on December 11, 2015 and will be truly missed.  He is survived by, loving children Debbie (Peter), John (Cindy), Robyn (Matjaz), Cameron, Trevor (Amanda), grandchildren MacKenzie, Kaitlyn, Taegan and Liam; Brother John (Vickie); nephew Scott (Lesley), Stephen (Gillian), and niece Christie (Dave), Brother-in-law Cameron (Wilma) and Daphne; nephew Peter, and niece Tammy, as well as partner Heather Adamson.

Neil began his career as a Monitoring Operator in 1956 working his way to becoming Finance/District Manager for the Department of Communications, retiring in 1988.  His passion for collecting vintage stamps and postcards led him to become well respected in the postcard industry for over 30 years.  Neil was a member of numerous postcard clubs.

He and his late wife, Denise Kenny of 36 years, were soul mates that laughed, loved and lived life adventurously together.  They shared a love for traveling and forming new bonds wherever they went. Their memories together will remain as snapshots for lifetimes to come.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital Palliative Care in memory of Neil A. Hehn.

Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
