Angela was a thoughtful and very
skilled engineer with a fine sense of humour. It is hard to believe she has
left us so soon. I will always remember her patiently explaining the basics of
engineering analysis when her reports dealt with controversial topics. When
Industry Canada was preparing for the Winter Olympics Angela was an unmatched
source of expertise and her estimates were always of the best quality.
All of us who had the privilege of working with her will forever miss her
companionship.

I met Angela when we were both employed
at DOC/Industry Canada. It has been some years since we last spoke, but I will
always remember her kindness and friendliness. My condolences to her family on
this terrible loss.

It was my honour to know and work with
Angela from her very first day with Industry Canada until my retirement in 2007.
No one could be more capable and dedicated with any of the multitude of projects
undertaken by her. Her buoyant personality and sharing of her travel adventures
were bonuses for all of us who were privileged to share our workplace in the
Pacific Regional Office.
Sincere condolences to Angela's family and loved ones.

After working together with Angela daily
now for many years I am going to miss our many great conversations about
engineering, economics and the wonders of the world around us. Now her office is
so very empty and quiet and I'm deeply saddened I will no longer share those
times together with my good friend and colleague. My heart goes to Angela's
family and many loved ones, who I know will miss her profoundly. For you, we
will all keep her close in our memories.

Angela was one of the first people I met
when I started with the DOC in 1989...she was always very helpful, kind and
insightful. When I got stuck she was always there to help. She will be missed.

I worked closely with Angela from the
Ottawa Office of Industry Canada. She was one of the hardest, intelligent and
most dedicated person that I ever met here at Spectrum Management. She will be
missed by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her. I pray that her family
can get through these difficult times ahead.

I had the pleasure of meeting Angela Choi in December 2009 when I
drove across Canada to deliver a spectrum monitoring vehicle to Vancouver for
the 2010 Winter Olympics. ( Click here
for story ). My meeting with Angela was short but it was enough to see
how passionate she was about her work in spectrum management. I am so sorry to
hear about her passing. My condolences go out to her family, colleagues and
friends.
